NOIDA: Resident welfare associations (RWAs) of more than 45 sectors of Greater Noida — under the umbrella body of Federation of RWAs Greater Noida (FRGN) — met Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) CEO and officials last week and presented a nine-point memorandum on civic issues.These include water problem, Pari Chowk jam, functioning of the Mitra app, delay in key redressal of complaints, the occupation of community center by police personnel, Bodaki junction, a system of public feedback for officials and a seamless arrangement of pass for entry to authority office etc.On the occasion, all the RWAs of the city mentioned the problems of their respective sectors point wise. Both RWA president, Sector Gamma 1, Manoj Bhati and Udayveer RWA president (Sector 03) and resident Sudhir Tyagi raised the issue of pending boundary wall, water supply and bad roads of the sectors.Similarly, Bhati, RWA president of Sector Swarnnagari, demanded a big community centre in the sector whereas Sher Singh RWA, president Sector Alpha 1, demanded a redress on the issue of illegal paying guest facilities operating in the sector.”From jams at Pari Chowk, substandard quality and quantity of water, an easy system of redressal of public grievances, road repairs, garbage collection and delays in collecting it for days, lack of sanitation to pending horticulture work etc, all were discussed by the residents in the meeting with CEO,” said Devendra Tiger, the president of Federation of RWAs Greater NoidaDeepak Kumar Bhati, general secretary, FRGN, further stated that officials present in the meeting were apprised of laxity of contractors of many sectors.”As a result, daily sanitation and horticulture related work suffers in most sectors,” said Bhati.GNIDA CEO Ritu Maheshwari heard all the problems for over hours and ordered concerned officials to ensure redress of issues raised till the next review meeting.On this occasion, newly appointed Medha Rupam additional chief executive officer (ACEO) Anand Vardhan officer on special duty (OSD), Satish Kushwaha, RK Dev and Jitendra Mavi, Vedprakash Sharma, Rishipal Bhati, Ajab Singh Pradhan and more were present.
