NEW DELHI: Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) on Saturday said it was intensifying measures to control the spread of dengue in the city. A large number of domestic breeding checkers have been deployed. Intersectoral meetings with different agencies of the city are also being held to work together in a strategic manner against the spread of vector-borne diseases, MCD said in a statement. The corporation appealed to the people to prevent water stagnation in and around their houses and also warned that allowing mosquito breeding is a punishable offence.
