NEW DELHI: A 43-year-old Nepal resident was murdered in west Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area on Saturday. Police said the victim had come to the city on January 24 in search of a job. So far, no one has been arrested. The victim was residing at his friend’s house in west Delhi.The deceased was identified as Rajkumar Galan, a native of village Kalikatar in Nepal. His body was found in a dumping ground near a two- storey building in Tilak Vihar. A CRPF camp is close to the spot.Deputy commissioner of police (west) Ghanshyam Bansal said the cops found that there was a deep cut mark on the throat of the victim. “A mobile crime team and a team from Forensic Science Laboratory were called for inspection of the spot and a case under section 302 (murder) of the IPC was registered,” the DCP added.”Several teams have been formed to nab the killer and we are checking the CCTV footage of adjoining areas,” police said.
