GURUGRAM: The traffic police have issued a traffic advisory alerting commuters of the closure of the Jaipur-Delhi carriageway of the Hero Honda Chowk flyover from Wednesday. According to the advisory, the carriageway will remain closed for traffic from September 21 to September 26. “Commuters coming from Jaipur and intending to go towards Delhi are requested to use the service lane to move straight,” the advisory stated. With the second carriageway of the flyover, meant for those moving from Delhi towards Jaipur remaining open as usual, commuters moving in this direction will not have to make any changes in their route. This will also be the case for those travelling from Umang Bhardwaj Chowk towards Jaipur, from Delhi towards Umang Bhardwaj Chowk, and from Subhash Chowk towards Delhi. Commuters on these routes will also be able to follow their usual route. “Traffic police will be at the locations to guide commuters. Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted,” concluded the advisory.
