NEW DELHI: A Delhi court on Wednesday granted time to Enforcement Directorate (ED) to file a response to an application moved by actor Jacqueline Fernandez to travel to Dubai between January 27 and 30. The court of additional sessions judge Shailender Malik has scheduled the next hearing for January 27 and asked ED to file a response by then. Fernandez, who is being investigated by ED in a Rs 200-crore money laundering case allegedly involving Sukesh Chandrasekhar, moved the application on Wednesday. She withdrew an earlier application requesting permission to travel abroad due to changes in her travelling schedule. Fernandez stated she had received an invitation to perform in Dubai for a concert on January 29 for the ‘Annual Bottler Conference’ organised by PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited. The actor stated she had always joined the ED investigation and remained present in all court proceedings. She had earlier said she was willing to abide by conditions imposed by the court if she was allowed to travel out of India. The court granted her exemption from personal appearance on January 24.Last week, the Economic Offences Wing filed a chargesheet naming Pinky Irani as an accused, who allegedly was key in introducing Chandrashekhar to Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi.
