NEW DELHI: A Faridabad businessman was robbed of Rs 50 lakh at gunpoint in southeast Delhi’s Jangpura area. Police have apprehended a juvenile and arrested a man in the case.One of the accused has been identified as Aakash Sharma (19), a polytechnic student, and the other is a juvenile. On Friday, police said, they received a PCR call in which the caller, identified as Aashish Chauhan, claimed that two boys had robbed him in Jangpura Extension. Special commissioner of police (crime) Ravindra Singh Yadav said that in connivance with one Zubin Joshi, they trapped the complainant and called him in Jangpura on the pretext of giving Rs. 75 lakhs in white in exchange of Rs. 50 lakhs in cash. On Friday, when they all gathered at a garment godown in Jangpura, they threatened Aashish, robbed the bag of cash and fled away. During investigation both the accused were apprehended from Baghpat.
