NEW DELHI: Two delivery boys, working with an online food and grocery firm, alleged that they were assaulted by a family when they went to their house in Rajouri Garden to deliver groceries on Saturday. According to police, counter-allegations have been made by the family that the delivery boys – Aman and Gurpal Singh – misbehaved with the women in the house. It is being looked into, senior officials said.The two men told police that they went to J block in Rajouri Garden, to deliver groceries worth Rs 1,655. One Tarun Suri opened the door and started misbehaving with both of them. They said an argument over change led to their assault.Singh also alleged that his turban was ripped off. A video of the incident was posted on social media.Based on their statement, a case of assault was registered and an investigation was taken up. However, the people from the house also alleged that the two men misbehaved, using abusive words, with the women present in the house. Their allegations are also being looked into and necessary legal action is being taken,” said a senior police officer.
