The almost nonstop rain since Friday night led to waterlogging in many places in the city on Saturday. Police had to deploy extra personnel to manage the traffic. At Aurobindo Marg, potholes on the slip road towards Press Enclave slowed the traffic, while a decrepit stretch between Moti Bagh and Dhaula Kuan similarly forced vehicles to progress at glacial speed. “In the past 12 hours, Delhi witnessed incessant rainfall. Several traffic-impacting incidents such as water logging, development of potholes, etc. , were reported from across Delhi. These resulted in traffic bottlenecks, slow moving traffic and traffic congestion,” said SS Yadav, special commissioner, Traffic.
