Delhi lieutenant governor V K Saxena (File photo) NEW DELHI: The lieutenant governor (LG) took stock of the rotating water sprinkler installed at the top of the civic centre to mitigate dust pollution on a trial basis. Based on the results, the exercise will be undertaken in NDMC, DDA and PWD areas also. On August 6, the LG had expressed hope that Delhi will have better air quality this winter with the installation of rotating water sprinklers atop high buildings in the national capital. “Had asked to install rotating water sprinklers on top of high buildings. MCD and PWD tested it and results are amazing. The spray covers 70 meter distance over 270 degrees and dilutes pollutants without causing sludge and trouble to commuters. Hope Delhi has better air this winter,” the LG had tweeted earlier. FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIAFacebookTwitterInstagramKOO APPYOUTUBE
