NEW DELHI: A 45-year-old man was murdered in southwest Delhi’s Kishangarh area on Tuesday. He was identified as Krishna Kumar, a resident of Mehrauli, who worked as an insurance agent. At 9 am, police received a call about the man lying unconscious in the area. The call was made by a passerby. A team from the local police station reached the spot and the victim was shifted to a hospital where he was declared dead. Some injury marks were seen on the body. Cops suspect the victim might have been attacked with stones, but they are waiting for the postmortem report to ascertain the reason behind the death. Soon after the body was identified, Kumar’s family members were informed about the incident. Cops are scanning CCTV footage of the area to get clues about the killer. “We suspect that it is a case of personal enmity. Some people have been detained and they are being questioned,” an officer said. Kumar is survived by his wife and three children.
