NEW DELHI: A woman working as a senior nursing officer at a central government hospital has been arrested from Haridwar for allegedly torturing a 7-year-old girl, a distant relative, in southwest Delhi’s RK Puram. The girl has multiple injury marks on her body,” said the officer. “Based on the preliminary probe, the son was arrested the same day while it was found that the woman had left Delhi. The girl was sent to a child welfare facility,” the officer added. The son has been identified as Joney Patel, a property dealer. He is unmarried, said police. He has been sent to judicial custody.
