NEW DELHI: A day after a 38-year-old man, Rajesh Kumar, allegedly killed his wife and two sons and then tried to end his own life at Dwarka’s Vipin Garden, investigators have found that the weapon of offence, a kitchen knife, was purchased online. It was delivered at his home.Police sources said at least three knives were purchased from an online shopping website last week. Cops suspect that the murder was pre-planned. They are also investigating whether Kumar tried to kill his wife and kids earlier as well. A senior officer said that they were probing the case from all angles.According to police, the postmortem of Kumar’s wife and her two children, including an infant, was conducted on Monday and later handed over to the woman’s family members. The initial report suggests the wounds were caused by the knife.While speaking about the health condition of Kumar, an officer said his surgery was conducted on Wednesday, and based on his health condition, he would be questioned.Investigation revealed that Kumar had sent a WhatsApp message to his school friends’ group between 4 am and 4.30 am on Sunday. In the WhatsApp message, Kumar mentioned that he had suffered a huge financial loss.
