NEW DELHI: Former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia was grilled by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday in Delhi excise policy scam case.The federal probe agency is questioning the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader in connection with its money laundering probe into alleged irregularities.This if for the second time Sisodia is being questioned. On March 7, the agency recorded his statement for the first time for about five hours.Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26. At present, he is lodged in judicial custody.The agency is expected to question him about the alleged change and destruction of cellphones that were in his possession and the policy decisions and the timeline followed by him as the excise minister of Delhi. These charges were made by it in its charge sheets filed before the court.On Wednesday, AAP national spokesperson Saurabh Bharadwaj alleged that party leader Manish Sisodia is being kept with other inmates in jail and has been refused the ‘Vipassana’ cell. AAP also alleged that Despite the court’s approval, Sisodia was kept with criminals in jail number 1.However, rejecting the AAP’s allegations, officials said, “All the arrangements, as per jail rules, are in place to ensure his safety and security.
