NOIDA: A dentist has been booked for allegedly making a hoax call about a bomb planted at the combined district hospital in Sector 30 on Saturday.ACP-1 Rajnish Verma said the woman, who introduced herself as Zara, called the 112 emergency helpline on Saturday afternoon and said a bomb had been planted at the hospital. The information was immediately relayed to the local police post in-charge and a police team reached the hospital for checking. “Cops dispatched to the hospital combed the premises but did not find anything suspicious. Then we traced the number from which the call was made. Initial probe revealed that the caller was a 53-year-old dentist and lives in Sector 20 police station area. We have lodged an FIR against the woman under IPC section 177 (knowingly furnishing false information to a public servant). Further probe is underway,” Verma said.
