The daytime temperature dropped by two degrees, while the sky remained partly cloudy with high humidity levels. The city may receive moderate to light rain on Sunday. According to India Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.4 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average. The minimum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 27.4 degrees Celsius, the season’s average. The maximum and minimum temperatures on Sunday may hover around 34 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively. Meanwhile, the air quality was satisfactory as the Air Quality Index, on a scale of 0 to 500, was recorded at 80 as against 88 a day earlier.
