The accused were identified as Aman Singh, a resident of Uttam Nagar, and Babashola Titus Odumosu (34) from Nigeria. Deputy commissioner of police (Dwarka) M Harsha Vardhan said that they arrested Singh from the Uttam Nagar area and recovered cocaine from his possession. “Singh used to organise parties and events in Delhi and approached John, a Nigerian drug trafficker, for financial help. He gave him contact details of Titus. Titus told him to bring a consignment of cocaine from Dubai and offered him USD 5,000 for the job. Singh accepted the offer and went to Dubai in June and brought 2.5 kg drugs from a South American drug peddler,” police said, adding that they have recovered a selfie of the South American drug peddler from Singh’s phone. “We nabbed the Nigerian national from Mumbai airport when he was trying to flee to another country on a fake passport,” police said.
