DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday slammed the BJP accusing it of failing to find a solution to the garbage issue in Delhi ahead of the MCD polls. AAP leader and MLA Durgesh Pathak said that instead of finding a solution, the BJP was planning to create more garbage dumps across Delhi. Pathak said that the party ruled MCD for 15 years but is not asking for votes for the work done by it. “People of Delhi are irked due to the garbage issue and corruption in MCD. Situation is such that one can’t contruct his house without bribing the councillors. But this will change after the MCD elections. We will fight corruption and will remove these garbage mountains in a time-bound manner,” Pathak said during a press conference.
