NEW DELHI: Three people, including a CISF constable, have been arrested for posing as cops and robbing Rs 34 lakh from a man in north Delhi’s Sabzi Mandi area. Deputy commissioner of police (north) Sagar Singh Kalsi said two men are still absconding. Police have recovered part of the stolen cash. “One of the accused is a CISF constable posted at one of the metro stations in the city. We are conducting raids to nab two other accused and recover the remaining money,” he said.The incident was reported to police on February 6. The complainant, who works for a businessman, was travelling in an e-rickshaw when he was stopped by four people dressed in police uniforms. “They demanded that the complainant produce a bill. When he was unable to do so, he was asked to come to Rohini police station. They took the complainant and the money bags in their car and later dropped himand fled with the money,” the officer said.
